1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using findex, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the application.

2. Use of the Service

findex provides a platform for logging fishing data and optionally sharing that data with a community. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use this service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any data you upload.

3. User Generated Content (UGC)

You retain ownership of any content you post publicly (catch details, photos). However, by choosing to "Share" content, you grant findex a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the app and associated services.

Prohibited Content: You agree not to post content that is illegal, offensive, harassing, or contains unauthorized personal information. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards.

4. Google Drive Integration

The backup feature utilizes your personal Google Drive storage. findex is not responsible for any data loss occurring within your Google Drive account or for any service interruptions provided by Google. It is your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient storage space for your backups.

5. Disclaimers & Safety

"As-Is" Service: findex is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy of catch reports, venue locations, or bait suggestions provided by other users.

Physical Safety: Fishing involves inherent risks. findex is not responsible for any injury, property damage, or legal issues (such as trespassing) that may occur while visiting venues mentioned in the app. Users are responsible for obtaining necessary fishing licenses and permissions for any location they visit.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, findex and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app or the public sharing of your data.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the app at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
